When I set up my blog, I went for this cheap looking theme that did not function well. I did not understand as to why my blog wouldn’t perform well in terms of speed.

Neither did I know about free themes like Astra and Kadence at the time.

After about 4 months, when I made the switch to Kadence, I noticed drastic changes in my site speed and my site looked much better than before.

Well, thanks for this beginner’s guide to WordPress. Worth a share!
